In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a local resident filed a lawsuit against the main highways department, claiming 800 thousand rubles after his Porsche Cayenne struck a road pothole, leading to suspension damage. The claim was reported by the Telegram channel Ni Mash.
According to the claimant, the vehicle came to a stop only about 150 meters after hitting the pothole. The impact caused two wheels to burst and rendered the air suspension inoperative. The car owner, Ekaterina, pursued reimbursement for repair costs from the road builders by going to court.
The court ruled in favor of the injured vehicle owner, awarding 800 thousand rubles. However, this sum covered only part of the Cayenne’s repair expenses, as forensic experts noted that the costs for repairs and spare parts were high and required further assessment.
Earlier reports indicated that the Volzhsky vehicle, a VAZ-21099, experienced a separate accident, crashing into a tree and breaking into two pieces.
