Volkswagen started sales of the updated eighth-generation Golf and offered a special version in honor of the model’s 50th anniversary. In this respect reports Press service of the German car manufacturer.
The cost of the Golf hatchback in Germany starts from 27.2 thousand euros (2.7 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication), the Variant station wagon will cost the buyer from 28.3 thousand euros (2.8 million rubles).
The anniversary version of the Golf Edition 50 stands out with original 18-inch wheels, tinted rear windows, illuminated radiator grille, black headliner, pedal covers and logos that say “50” indicating that it belongs to the special version.
The updated Golf was: presented By the end of January 2024. The new product differs from the pre-refresh model with modified headlights, front bumper and illuminated brand logo. There is a new display on the inside of the front panel, ranging in size from 10.4 to 12.9 inches. Also appeared was a media system with built-in ChatGPT. The touch buttons on the steering wheel were replaced by simple buttons.
For an additional fee, the buyer can install IQ.Light matrix headlights. In addition, there is a function to control automatic parking from a smartphone.
The updated Golf buyers are available in nine different engine types: Hybrid, gasoline and diesel turbo engines.
