Production of the second generation Skoda Kodiaq crossover has started in the Czech Republic. In this respect reports Skoda press service.
The total length of the crossover increased by 61 mm compared to the previous model, reaching 4758 mm. Like its predecessor, the new Kodiaq is available in five- and seven-seat versions. Five power plants are available for the car, with power ranging from 150 to 204 hp. 150 horsepower Turbodiesel 2.0. Front-wheel drive vehicles have a 1.5 gasoline turbo engine with the same power.
For the all-wheel drive Kodiaq, there is a 204-horsepower gasoline turbo engine and a 2.0 diesel engine with 193 hp. DSG robotic transmission is used as a transmission for all modifications. The new Kodiaq also has a plug-in hybrid version based on the 1.5 gasoline turbo engine. Its total power is 204 hp.
Additionally, Kodiaq will now be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Electric range is 100 km.
The new Kodiaq has a 13-inch media system screen. The climate control unit has rotary knobs equipped with programmable displays.
