Korean car manufacturer Hyundai presented At a tuning exhibition in Tokyo, a “hot hatchback” prototype based on the Ioniq 5 electric car.
The car received an aerodynamic body kit with front and rear bumpers of aggressive design, a spoiler on the trunk lid and door sills. The NPX1 also features lightweight carbon fiber composite wheels, stronger brakes and a lower ride height.
The interior of the electric hatchback is decorated with faux suede – Alcantara. The concept was launched ahead of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, which is expected to hit the market in 2024. The automaker has not yet announced the technical specifications of the model. The electric car is expected to have a dual-motor four-wheel drive transmission.
