The rally opened on October 26 at 10:00 AM, with the event titled “PROspace – Let’s go to Rosa Khutor!” organized by the Eurasian Commonwealth of Tourism Industry Specialists – ESOT and Rosa Khutor Mountain Resort. The journey began in Moscow, as a convoy of three Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max vehicles rolled out from the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, heading toward Voronezh, with plans to reach Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar along the route. The expedition is scheduled to conclude on November 1 at Rosa Khutor, inviting participants to explore a potential road trip to Russia’s southern regions.

In every city on the itinerary, the participants—journalists, bloggers, and organizers—will tour local attractions, connect with regional media, tourism enterprises, and authorities, and offer their own recommendations for future road travelers.

The Marketing and E-Commerce Director of Rosa Khutor Mountain Resort, Dmitry Barashkov, stated that the team will pause to inspect and test the infrastructure along the way, sharing practical tips to make southern travel more engaging and comfortable. Followers can keep up with updates on social media using the hashtag #edemnarozahutor. Barashkov himself is part of the road trip.

Svetlana Chichkina, Vice President of ESOT, commented that the Moscow to Sochi journey along the M-4 Don highway in a Chery vehicle of this class offers a smooth, safe ride. Quick refueling at Rosneft stations and a cup of aromatic coffee are sure to lift spirits among motorists. Chichkina will also drive a Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max.

The overarching goal of the event is to highlight car tourism as a promising recreational option within Russia. The road trip is designed to demonstrate that such a drive can be a remarkable experience, an opportunity to discover the nation more deeply, and a chance to admire historical sights in cities like Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, and Krasnodar.
