A driver in the US crashed, was seriously injured, and was locked in his vehicle for six days. In this respect reports CNN.

Two fishermen found a wrecked pickup truck under a bridge near a creek off Interstate 94 in northwestern Indiana. Inside the car was 27-year-old Matthew Reum, who was trapped inside the car as a result of an accident. Fishermen called emergency services to the scene. Reum told rescuers she couldn’t feel her legs.

It turned out that the man had an accident on December 20, six days before he was found. While the car that jumped off the road remained out of the field of view of other drivers, no one heard its cries for help due to the noise of passing vehicles. To survive, Reum collected rainwater from the sewer pipe on top of the car with her shirt and used the airbag as a blanket. The man, who was seriously injured in his leg in the accident, was taken to the hospital.
