After the Rolf car dealer’s shares are transferred to the management of the Federal Property Management Agency, the dealer’s holding may be sold to another large car dealer or merged with one of the idle car factories. This prediction was expressed by Sergei Burgazliev, an independent consultant on the automotive industry, in an interview with socialbites.ca.
“I believe that large dealer holdings such as Avilona can buy Rolf if the potential sale goes ahead. Burgazliev told socialbites.ca: It is logical that managing such a business requires certain skills and competencies that the state and officials of the Federal Property Management Agency do not have.
According to him, another form of such a transaction could be Rolf’s merger with one of the idle automobile factories previously owned by foreign automobile companies. Burgazliev stated that this would enable a synthesis similar to the one that Avilon is trying to create with the former Volkswagen factory and Avtodom is trying to create with the former Mercedes-Benz factory.
