Drunk Perm steals asphalt compactor

In Perm, a 20-year-old local resident will be tried for stealing an asphalt compactor and damaging it by crashing into a pole. In this respect reports Perm Region Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

In July of this year, at around five o’clock in the morning, the young man left the bar and met a group of young people. While walking along Sibirskaya Street, they saw a road skating rink. Seeing that the paver doors were open, the group climbed there. Inside, the young man found the keys to special equipment and decided to go for a ride. Without saying anything to the others, he put the keys in the ignition and started driving.

After passing a traffic light, the young man lost control and drove onto the curb, where the ice rink came to a halt. The young people jumped out of the taxi, drove the pirate vehicle and crashed into a pole. Due to the impact, the side windows of the cylinder fell and broke. On the same day, the young man was detained, the damage to the owner of special equipment exceeded 5 million rubles.

The young man was charged under Part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Unjustified seizure of a car or other vehicle without the purpose of theft” and paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. In February, it was revealed that the young man stole a package containing 18 thousand rubles, a hearing aid and discount cards from an 80-year-old relative. He spent the money to buy himself a mobile phone, a football, shorts and a T-shirt.

Earlier in Yakutia, the driver apologized and said, hit with a traffic police inspector’s knife.
