A new bridge will be built across the Moskva River in Moscow, connecting the Shelepikhinskaya embankment and the Filevskaya floodplain. In this respect said Mayor of the city Sergei Sobyanin.
“A bridge is being built across the Moscow River between the Shelepikhinskaya embankment and the Filevskaya floodplain. This is one of the largest engineering structures built along the river in recent years. “And of course, this is very important to take into account such a dynamic development of the Big City and to connect existing areas.”
According to him, the new bridge will increase transport accessibility for 0.5 million people living in four districts of Moscow.
The bridge, which will connect the Beregovoy Pass with the Shelepikhinskaya Embankment and the Shelepikhinskoye Highway, will have six lanes for traffic in two directions, and will also have additional exits to the Third Transport Ring and the Zvenigorodskoye Highway. The length of the new bridge is 315 meters.
