Experts calculated that about 500 such machines were purchased at an average cost of 2.2-2.5 million rubles. In second place on the list was Lada Granta, whose purchase cost was 525.4 million rubles, and in third place was UAZ SGR (“Loaf”), whose purchase cost was 499.7 million rubles.
“Government buying cars does not necessarily mean buying cars for officials. In some cases, we are talking about economic or official needs of state institutions,” said Tenderplan General Director Maxim Kuznetsov.
Experts announced that the authorities did not purchase the most expensive Russian car, the Aurus limousine, in the first three quarters of this year. According to the tender plan, officials also ordered Niva Travel for 341.1 million rubles, UAZ Patriot for 227.2 million rubles, Lada Vesta for 168.5 million rubles, Niva Legend for 104 million rubles, Haval F7/F7x for 90.6 million rubles, 90.6 million rubles.
