The Exeed company, which is part of the Chery concern, will present the updated VX large crossover on the Russian market in December. In this respect report “Chinese cars,” referring to a Chery representative.
The crossover had its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in Qatar in October. Externally, the updated model has a front bumper design and an enlarged chrome radiator grille. The Exeed VX features a redesigned interior with triple displays on the dashboard, drive mode selector behind the steering wheel and new door cards.
Exeed VX is built on the new T2X platform with active damping suspension and upgraded all-wheel drive system. The crossover is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine producing 261 hp. (400 Nm) with 8-band Aisin automatic transmission. It is assumed that for Russia the engine will be derated to 250 hp. The pre-styling VX model is sold in Russia at a price of 5.3 million rubles.
