Indian automaker Tata presented updated versions of its Harrier and Safari crossovers and announced fuel efficiency indicators. In this respect reports Autocar India.
Tata Harrier gets a new front design; Its bumper is visually divided into two parts by a horizontal strip painted in body colour. The headlights are moved towards the edges of the body. The crossover also received 17-inch wheels of a new design. In the interior, there is now a separately installed media system screen instead of the screen integrated into the front panel.
The updated Tata Safari has higher headlights and a wider grille. The interior changes are the same as those on the Harrier, with the addition of rear seat ventilation.
Both cars are equipped with 2.0-liter turbodiesels producing 170 horsepower. and a torque of 350 Nm, which is provided by a 6-speed manual transmission or a classic 6-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter. Engineers have improved fuel efficiency indicators for the Harrier with manual transmission: after the update, the car consumes 5.9 liters of fuel per 100 km compared to the previous 6.1 liters.
