Toyota Company presented There’s a new Crown Sport crossover in Japan.
The car became part of the new Toyota Crown family, which the Japanese automaker had previously decided to introduce to the global market. Following the Crown Sport crossover that went on sale in November, the automaker plans to launch a sedan and a larger Crown Estate crossover in Japan. The overall length of the Crown Sport is 4720 mm. The car received 21-inch wheels.
The crossover’s interior is designed in a classic style, with the instrument panel and media system screen placed on the same line to save the driver from unnecessary eye movements while driving. Engineers also optimized the height of the thresholds and the shape of the door trims to facilitate entry and exit.
The Crown Sport model will go on sale in Japan with a hybrid drive system based on a 2.5 gasoline engine. A rechargeable version will also be available. The car received a front suspension with McPherson struts and a multi-link rear suspension. The Crown Sport is available in six main exterior colors and five two-tone combinations. The price of Crown Sport in the Japanese market starts from 5.9 million yen (4 million rubles).
