Mazda has introduced an updated version of the MX-5 roadster for the Japanese market. The car got new headlights and a more powerful engine, reports Engine1.
The LED headlights of the 2024 model year integrate daytime running lights. The taillights are now fully LED, including the direction indicators. The grille has been modified to accommodate radar adaptive cruise control. The car also received new design wheels with a landing diameter of 16 and 17 inches.
The MX-5 also features a modern media system with an 8-inch screen, previously fitted to the CX-3 crossover. Engineers replaced the electric power steering and introduced an asymmetric limited slip differential. The 1.5 engine has become 4 hp more powerful.
