A resident of the Voronezh region who attacked two traffic police inspectors while examining her husband for drunkenness was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison. In this respect reports Press service of the Bobrovsky District Court.
The conflict between spouses and traffic cops occurred in the city of Bobrov at the end of May 2023.
“While preparing administrative material on the issue of drunken driving by Citizen B., the defendant SV Belyaeva was dissatisfied with the legal actions of traffic police officers in Bobrovsky of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The court said, “We caused physical pain to each of the traffic police officers in the area by hitting them in the face.”
For the attack on government officials, the court sentenced Belyaeva to 2 years and 6 months in a general regime colony under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. She was detained at the courthouse.
