Police in Moscow detained three suspects in connection with the car arson incident. In this respect reports Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the capital.
A 35-year-old resident of the Moscow region parked a foreign car near a garage cooperative in the Voikovsky district. At night, three young people came to the car on a scooter, broke the windows, and stole the car’s radio and battery. Two young people jumped on the car and broke it by repeatedly kicking its body and windshield. They then stole a bag of brass fittings from the trunk. After one of the young people set the vehicle on fire with a lighter, everyone fled the scene.
It turned out that the suspects were 22, 19 and 18 years old from Moscow. Material damage amounted to about 350 thousand rubles, young people did not have time to sell the loot. A criminal case was filed for ‘theft’ and ‘intentional damage to property’. The young people were released on their own recognizance.
