NIO introduced the second-generation NIO EC6 coupe-crossover in China. In this respect reports Automated home portal.
The new product features narrower optics and differently designed bumpers, as well as an active rear spoiler. The length of the crossover is 4849 mm and the wheelbase is 2915 mm. The car is equipped with an electric powertrain and four-wheel drive system with motors at each axle. Total power is 489 hp. Depending on the modification, the maximum range on a single battery charge varies between 495 and 630 kilometers.
The cabin is equipped with a digital instrument panel and a central display for a multimedia system powered by NVIDIA technology, as well as driver assistance functions. NIO EC6 received soundproof glass and a noise reduction system, as well as seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions. Luggage volume is 594 liters (1402 liters with the rear seats folded). According to the manufacturer, the crossover is capable of towing cargo weighing up to 1260 kg.
The cost of the new NIO EC6 will be announced later. The first generation model is sold in China at a price of 338 thousand yuan (4.5 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication).
