On the Scandinavian highway, in front of the village of Ogonki in the Leningrad Region, a truck crashed into a group of cyclists and a car accompanying them. In this respect informs Telegram channel Mash on Moika.

Nine people, including 8 children, were injured in the accident. Two of the eight affected children died. According to preliminary data, the accident occurred as a result of the truck driver losing control of the steering wheel.

With order Leningrad District Prosecutor Sergei Zhukovsky Vyborg City Prosecutor Leonid Seliverstov went to the scene of the accident to coordinate the actions of all services.

How reported In the administration of the Leningrad region, assistance will be provided to victims and, if necessary, hospitalized. Ambulance crews of the Vyborg substation, the Sertolovskaya substation of the Toksovo substation and a helicopter flew to the scene of the accident. Also, at the scene of the accident, St. Ambulances were sent from St. Petersburg.

Near the Chelyabinsk timber carrier in July collapsed in a car with athletes. Six people were injured in the accident. These were members and coaches of the cycling team of the Sverdlovsk region. All the injured were taken to the nearest hospital.
