The fifth-generation Mini Cooper produces 184 hp, depending on the modification. (290 Nm) or 218 hp (330 Nm), in the first case, the hatchback can overcome up to 305 km without recharging, and in the second – up to 402 km. The most powerful version is capable of accelerating to “hundreds” in 6.7 seconds.
The base version of the new Countryman produces 204 hp. (250Nm). In a more expensive modification, traction is transferred to all wheels, the power plant produces 313 hp. (494 Nm) and allows you to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds. The power reserve goes up to 462 km for the front-wheel drive version and 433 km for the all-wheel drive version.
In the cabin of both models, there is a single round OLED display with a diameter of 240 millimeters, which combines the functions of the instrument cluster and infotainment system with voice control. The Cooper and Countryman’s cabin features a redesigned unit with toggle switches for parking brake control, engine start, gear shift and volume control, as well as wireless charging for the smartphone.
The company also announced that the Mini Aceman crossover will premiere in April 2024.
