Sollers announced preparations for the restyling of the UAZ Patriot during the opening of the Sollers Product Development Center at the Idea Technopark in Kazan. The enterprise will develop the Sollers range of vehicles and modernize UAZ models, as well as provide engineering support to the localization program and develop new technological solutions, including in the field of electromobility.
Now, in addition to working on the restyling of the Patriot, Sollers specialists are developing an all-wheel drive system for the Sollers Atlant commercial model, integrating and localizing a diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission into UAZ vehicles, as well as localization of new passive safety systems.
The last restyling of the Patriot SUV was presented in 2016 by the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. Later, the car was given a new grille, dash and gear lever, as well as an adjustable steering column and other updates.
