Iranian company SAIPA plans to start production of its cars in Russia. In this respect informs Autonews.ru with a link to a brand representative.
According to the source, SAIPA has already appealed to the leadership of the Kaliningrad enterprise “Avtotor” and the Belarusian plant “Unison”. The automaker hopes that a concrete decision on vehicle assembly will be made before the end of 2023.
Russian market will representation three SAIPA models. The first will be the Quik hatchback. The machine is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter M15 engine with 87 hp. The vehicle has both manual and automatic transmissions. Its price is 1.5 million rubles.
The second model is the Saina S sedan. Dealers will sell such a car at a price of 1.2 million rubles. Later, another sedan will appear on the market – Shahin. This model is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine. The cost is 2 million rubles.
