A truck of the Chinese BAW brand, whose production will begin in Russia, was introduced at the MIMS Automobility Moscow fair. In this respect informs “Avto.ru Magazine”.
The 3.5 tonne BAW trucks will be offered with single-row and double-row cabins. The length of the trolley is 5985 mm, the size of the loading platform varies from 3 to 3.7 meters depending on the cabin, and its interior width is 1780 mm. A two-ton modification is planned to be included in the line in the future. Trucks for the Russian market are planned to be equipped with a 2.0-liter engine (122 and 133 hp) combined with a mechanical transmission. The engines can run on methane and gasoline.
It was noted that BNM (Build New Mobility) will import trucks from China in the first place. Later, the cars assembled at the BNM factory in Bryansk will go on sale. The manufacturer plans to sell up to 100 cars per month at a price of 2.1 million rubles.
