Truck driver carrying 10 tons of cattle escaped from customs

Bryansk customs officials blocked an attempt to illegally transport 10 tons of frozen cattle to Russia, reported At the Central Customs Service of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

At the Red Stone checkpoint, customs officers stopped a frozen truck. The driver did not have the documents confirming the safety of the quarantined cargo.

The driver fled from the car stop in an unknown direction and his truck was arrested and sent to a temporary warehouse with the frozen heads.

“With regard to the goods, a decision will be made in accordance with applicable law after a series of verification measures,” FCS said.
