Stellantis is completely shutting down production in Russia due to a growing number of cross-sanctions and logistical problems.

At the same time, the concentrate is taking all measures to comply with international sanctions and to protect its employees, the official statement said.

Stellaantis had already announced at the beginning of March that it would stop importing and exporting cars from its factory in Kaluga. But she kept production in her factory, although it was claimed to be operating at reduced productivity.

Prior to the start of the special operation, commercial vehicles from Peugeot Expert and Partner, Opel Combo Cargo, Citroen Jumpy and Berlingo, Peugeot Traveller, Citroen SpaceTourer, Opel Zafira Life and Opel Combo Life compact vans were produced here.

The company has stated that it supports all actions that can help restore peace. At the same time, it was reported in mid-March that it was looking for opportunities to resume the export and import of cars from Russia and to the country.

Like many other manufacturers, and in this case, “Stellantis” is talking only about the suspension of work, and not about a complete withdrawal from our country.
