In the Tunkinsky district of Buryatia, authorities reported the creation of a temporary accommodation point (TAP) after parts of a bridge access were washed away by the adjacent roadway. The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations shared the update on its official site.
The TAP was established on the premises of a local school in Turan, serving residents and travelers affected by the incident. In the nearby settlements of Kyrenia and Turan, five food points were identified to provide sustenance for those displaced. Two traffic police officers were assigned to the emergency area to help manage access and safety.
Earlier information from the Ministry of Transport of Buryatia indicated that traffic on the A-333 Kultuk – Mondy – Mongolia highway, specifically near the border bridge approaches, was blocked due to erosion. On-site experts assessed the damage and outlined plans to restore passage by filling the approaches with rock. Specialized equipment was dispatched from Slyudyanka and Kharbyaty to support the stabilization work. The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted the involvement of a total of 43 people and 36 pieces of equipment in addressing the incident.
In a separate update, it was reported that a section of the Saki-Evpatoria road was closed following a fire at a private dwelling in Crimea.
