True, it turns out that not everyone knows about this yet: according to Renaissance Insurance, 41% of Russians do not know about the possibility of issuing an e-OSAGO.
And 35% of Russians are not aware of the right to show a QR code to a traffic police officer instead of all documents, the source writes. Note, however, that the employee reserves the right to require a paper copy from you.
Regarding OSAGO, 38% of respondents have already switched to an electronic policy. However, 63% of motorists are not yet ready to completely let go of the paper version.
At the same time, 81% of the respondents support the active introduction of electronic document management and 36% (the largest group) call the OSAGO policy the most important car document. And it’s all about the fact that e-OSAGO will soon become ubiquitous: over the year, the number of such policies has grown by 31.5%.
