The task of the Technical Council for the development of sea unmanned systems in Russia is to contribute to the entry of promising developments and advanced technologies to the interests of the navy. This has been reported in the press service of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (Central Bank).
The United Russia Party, Unmanned Systems and Technologies Center and the main command of the Russian Navy participated in the formation of the council.
It is stated that the technical council will work under the presidency of the admiral Alexander Moiseev.
Alexander Moiseev said that the development of the Russian Navy, the vehicles of the armed struggle in the sea are inseparable with technological progress.
“Therefore, the operational promotion of unmanned systems is a necessary need for various purposes, robotic complexes and tools of combating them. This is a fact that shows experience, including it,” he said.
Moiseev emphasized that new developments in this region significantly increased their war capabilities of weapons and military special equipment, they have become an independent effective tool and changed the nature of the armed struggle in all environments.
“They will determine the wars of the future,” he was convinced.
Alexander Sidyakin, President of the United Russia Central Executive Committee, said the center of unmanned systems and technologies and the United Russia have already produced various product types for the navy.
“Today, the Navy and the CBST level are a technical system with the participation of all relevant parties. We will examine everything in the market and most importantly, to help find the vehicle that needs to be developed and will help to fulfill its duties of a private military operation.”
