The study also created a gap under the responsibility of cyber security. While 61% of adolescents are considered as personal responsibility, only one quarter of the participants accept the importance of parental participation. Among the parents, 82% of them are confident in ensuring the child’s cyber safety, but only 41% of these believe that the child is involved in this process.
In addition to parents and children, cyber security responsibility is assigned to the owners of internet resources-26% of the adolescents and 41% of parents. This emphasizes the creation of a safe online environment and a comprehensive approach to teach the foundations of cyber protection to the young generation.
