Most Russians are sure that artificial intelligence (AI) will radically change the internet space by 2040 and replace traditional search engines. These are the data of the new study carried out by the Online surveillance service, together with the PR agency MediCom.expert, the results are disposed of “Gazeta.ru ..

According to the survey, 81% of the participants believe that interactive aissisters will replace usual search engines. The Russians expect AI not only to find information, but also to offer ready -made solutions and to be an indispensable assistant in education, work and daily life. In general, work participants are sure that artificial intelligence will become a decisive technology that has a great impact on various aspects of life.

In addition, 78% of the participants foresee the active application of artificial intelligence for personalized diagnosis and treatment. A significant part of the survey (70%) expects the future entertainment content to be produced by AI in real time and adapt to users’ individual tastes.

However, against the background of optimistic estimates, the work has revealed the Russians’ fears of the future of the future in security. Approximately one -third of the participants (38%) expressed concerns that new technologies will create additional security vulnerabilities for data protection. At the same time, 32% believes in the development of more reliable security systems. In addition, 43% of the participants believe that the future of confidentiality will lose their relevance, because users will completely rely on new technologies. At the same time, 39% expects an increase in awareness of the importance of protection of personal data.

Among the potential risks of the Internet, the Russians called total control (62%), live human communication loss (39%) and mass loss (32%). In addition, anxiety, dependence on digital environment (30%), leakage of personal data (28%), cyber crime and spread of false information (20%).

Positively, 78% of the Russians are waiting for widespread access to the Internet, even in the farthest corners of the planet. 65 % of them are confident that most devices will be connected to the network by providing continuous data exchanges, including clothes of urban infrastructure and urban infrastructure elements. Internet access is expected to be carried out through wearable devices (66%) such as smart glasses and lenses, and 53% of the participants are expected to believe in neuro interfaces for direct connection to the network.

Most of the respondents are sure that the Internet of the future will positively affect the quality of life. The greatest hopes are related to improvement of education and access to information (56%). Improvements are also expected to expand their digital technologies (31%) and remote working capabilities (42%). According to the Russians, virtual assistants, personalized content and medical innovations will make life more comfortable and affordable.
