Lenovo creates a laptop with an automatic opening and tracking screen 14:02

At IFA 2024 in Berlin, Lenovo introduced its Auto Twist AI concept laptop, which features a display that automatically opens and rotates behind the user. reports Tom’s Hardware portal.

Position tracking for user screen rotation is made possible by the motorized Dual Degrees of Freedom hinge, which tracks the user’s movements for optimum screen visibility. This is especially useful for users who need to move around during video conferences.

In the demonstration, Auto Twist AI responded to voice commands such as “switch to tablet mode,” “switch to laptop mode,” and “close laptop.” The device’s lid automatically closes when the user walks away from the laptop, but this feature can be disabled if desired.

Additionally, Twist AI offers health-enhancing features including user posture monitoring, screen angle adjustment, and rest alerts.

So far, the Lenovo Twist AI is only available in concept form, and its release timing and approximate cost have not been disclosed.

Previously reportedThe Honor laptop has been given an AMOLED display and a modular webcam.
