Microsoft has begun to disconnect Russian customers from cloud services, including Office 365 and some other programs. reported Information about outages of foreign solutions on Softline’s Telegram channel.
According to the available information, at the moment for some Russian clients the status of subscriptions in the administration console has been changed to disabled (Russian – disabled). The restrictions affected Microsoft 365, Office 365, Teams and EMS.
In addition, Softline warned on September 2 that Microsoft has introduced restrictions on the use of certain Azure products, services and services by corporate customers in Russia, which will come into effect on September 12, 2024. The introduction of new restrictions due to sanctions prohibits Microsoft from supplying certain products and services, as well as Microsoft Azure services, to Russia.
Restrictions included Azure Data Explorer, Azure Databricks, Azure Managed Grafana, Azure Operator Insights, Azure Quantum, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI Embedded.
Microsoft prohibits further use of these resources in Russia. Customers will not be able to modify or update these resources, and continued use may result in tenant termination.
