Microsoft added a new feature to the Windows 11 operating system that records user activity on the computer. The portal reports this Windows Latest.
A feature called Recalls and Snapshots has been detected so far in the preview version of Windows 11 build 26212. This feature is designed to record the history of user actions, including open files, folders and applications.
The novelty is a timeline that allows you to restore the history of user actions. For privacy reasons, users will be able to turn off this feature, but initial indications are that this feature may be enabled by default.
The official release date of this feature in the stable version of Windows 11 has not been announced yet. Microsoft is expected to announce the innovation at an artificial intelligence event planned to be held on May 20.
As part of the upcoming event, Windows 11 2024 Update is expected to be announced, with a special emphasis on artificial intelligence, AI Explorer features, new Surface devices, and much more.
