NetEase, in collaboration with Marvel Games, announced the new team-based PvP shooter game Marvel Rivals. Positioned as a third-person online action game, the game will offer players a unique opportunity to control characters from the Marvel universe in 6v6 format. reports DTF portal.
In Marvel Rivals, each character will have unique combineable abilities. For example, Hulk can upgrade Iron Man’s armor and Rocket Raccoon can team up with Groot.
During the closed alpha test phase that will take place in May, 12 heroes, including Spider-Man, Black Panther and Magneto, will be available to players. In the published version, the list of characters is expected to be expanded to include Iron Man, Doctor Strange and other iconic heroes of Marvel comics.
The release date of the game, which is reminiscent of the shooter game Overwatch, has not been announced yet, but it has already been confirmed that Marvel Rivals will be released on PC and will be free to play. No information has been given yet about the console version. According to the game’s page on Steam, it is already known that the project will be translated into Russian.
