Poco, the brand owned by Xiaomi, introduced the cheap smartphone C61, which takes the design of the expensive Xiaomi 14 Ultra. At the same time, the new product is offered at a price below 10 thousand rubles, reports GizmoChina portal.
Poco C61 is a “clone” of another Xiaomi smartphone, the Redmi A3, equipped with a 6.71-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1650×720 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Screen protection is provided by tempered Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The budget MediaTek Helio G36 chip is responsible for the performance of the new product. The 8 MP main camera is complemented by a 0.08 MP sensor and there is a 5 MP selfie camera on the front. The 5000mAh battery only supports charging with a modest 10W of power.
Among other features of the Poco C61, they note the presence of a fingerprint scanner in the power button, an audio jack, a slot for microSD cards and Android 14.
Poco C61 is available for purchase only in India for now. The new product is priced at 7.5 and 8.5 thousand rupees (about 8.4 and 9.5 thousand rubles) for versions with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB and 6/128 GB, respectively.
