Apple released the beta version of VisionOS 1.1; In this version, enthusiasts discovered the ability to easily reset Vision Pro in case the user forgets the password. In this respect reports MacRumor’s publication.
It is currently not possible to reset Vision Pro outside of the Settings app, and the Settings app cannot be accessed without entering the passcode. This means anyone who can’t remember their passcode will need to take their Vision Pro to an Apple Store or service center.
In the beta version of VisionOS 1.1, enthusiasts found a hint of adding an option that would allow you to reset your password without contacting a store or service. This hint is a system notification that users will receive after many attempts to enter the code.
“Apple Vision Pro has been locked by security. “You can wait and re-enter your password, or erase and reset your Apple Vision Pro now,” it warns.
This reset is expected to remove all content on the device. After cleaning, Vision Pro can be set up again as a new device by adding a different password.
It is unknown when the public version of VisionOS 1.1 will be released.
