Intel has released the system requirements page for its Arc graphics cards. And it turns out that there are some limitations.

Intel has released system requirements for its Ark graphics cards. And they are strange

For example, it is claimed that the cards only work with 10th, 11th and 12th generation Intel Core processors. While the company notes that this is its first set of processors, it will be expanded in the future. However, there is no mention of support for systems based on AMD chips.

For the cards to work, the enabled Resizable BAR technology is required – this is a system that gives access to the entire memory of the video card. At the same time, the company calls it in the context of optimal performance. That is, in theory you can do without it.

In addition, Intel has released the Intel Driver and Support Assistant (IDSA) application, which documents say should check the system’s compatibility with new video cards. But the program doesn’t seem to do that.

And in another document, the company states that the IDSA application must be installed after the Arc graphics card is installed to verify the functionality of the Resizable BAR technology (and not compatibility, as mentioned earlier). So so far there are more questions than answers.

Recall that it was previously reported that the performance of Intel video cards may be lower than the company stated.🌲 Chel transferred the world from TES 4: Oblivion to Minecraft – it took more than two years
