Radeon 6700 video card does not exist – AMD fixes Sapphire bug

A few days ago, Sapphire announced a strange Radeon 6700 graphics card – without the RX prefix. It was offered in the Radeon 6700 and Radeon 6700 Pulse variants. However, it turned out that there is no such card – there is only the Radeon RX 6700. Sapphire promptly changed the description on its website.

Most interestingly, the Sapphire accelerator has already gone on sale under its old name, so it will definitely be a collector’s rarity.

As for the technical parameters, the card is based on the Navi 22 XL chip with 2304 stream processors. The base frequency of the reference version is 1941 MHz, the gaming version is 2174 MHz and in Boost mode it is up to 2450 MHz. The card is equipped with 10 GB GDDR6 memory with a 160-bit bus and 80 MB Infinity Cache.
