Journalists told all the pros and cons of the “cloud” console PlayStation Portal 10:00

In anticipation of the start of sales of the Sony PlayStation Portal portable console, journalists published their reviews in which they expressed mixed opinions about the new product. In this respect reports “Championship”.

That’s why the writers of Videogames Chronicle (VGC) praised PlayStation Portal for its build quality, long battery life (6 to 10 hours without recharging), and convenience for those who can’t play PlayStation 5 due to busy TV.

The Verge journalists criticized the device for its high price and lack of Bluetooth connection for the headset. They believe that Portal is a device only for PlayStation fans who do not mind spending $ 200 (about 18.4 thousand rubles) on a device with limited functionality. Experts noted that any smartphone and Steam Deck console supports remote play with PS5 and offers more features.

PlayStation Portal is a DualSense controller with a built-in display. This is not a standalone console. It can only stream games from PlayStation 5. Therefore, when purchasing PS Portal, the player must have a “home” console and have a stable Wi-Fi connection for the device to work.

PlayStation Portal will be available on November 15.

Previously Sony patent new gaming technology.
