PlayStation Portal portable compared to Steam Deck 15:44

Author of Hobby Consolas YouTube channel published The first unboxing video of the PlayStation Portal portable console, in which I also compared the device with Steam Deck.

The video blogger showed the design and dimensions of PlayStation Portal. Compared to Valve’s portable console, the Steam Deck, the author noted that both consoles have approximately the same dimensions, but the PlayStation Portal receives less weight and a larger screen (7 inches versus 8 for the Steam Deck).

PlayStation Portal is not a standalone console. For this to work, the user must have a “home” PlayStation 5 console from which the image will be broadcast to Portal. It can only run games installed on PS5.

PlayStation Portal is an 8-inch tablet device with a built-in DualSense gamepad. Tactile feedback technologies and adaptive triggers are also supported on the console.

PlayStation Portal costs $ 200 (about 18.4 thousand rubles). Currently, the console is only available for pre-order. The device will go on sale on November 15.

Previously Rockstar Games officially announced GTA VI.
