But popular models with such an unusual design have a significant drawback. In an interview with the agency “Hit the primer” Zakarian listed the problems with the flexible screen.
Folder smartphones are increasingly attracting the attention of buyers, and the flexible screen is the most fashionable, but also the weakest point of such devices. The easiest way to damage the screen is to bend the phone so the surface must be soft.
“You can’t use normal protective film. The fold line will gradually wear away, and in this area the screen may appear scratched,” warns Zakarian. The elasticity of the screen can worsen the fall. In addition, smartphones of this design do not protect the gadget when immersed in water.
Another disadvantage noted by Zakarian is the high cost of such smartphones, which do not have the best technical characteristics.
