Retailers from Russia have started buying devices and gadgets as part of parallel imports, but so far have limited the number of brands. For example, smartphones and other Apple products were not included in test sales and sales.
M.Video noted that the company can track the location of its equipment and block activation in a different region. To resolve this, Russian retailers are in consultation with colleagues from Iran, where the sale of Apple products is banned, although there were also ‘grey’ deliveries.
Likewise, deliveries of Samsung smartphones have already been established. They come from Kazakhstan, they are on sale in DNS, Svyaznoy and M.Video. In particular, the Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 models are offered. Their disadvantage is the high price – at the beginning of sales they are one and a half to two times more expensive than last year’s models.
