Yandex Market has implemented a next-generation generative neural network from Yandex — YandexGPT (YaLM 2.0), which will help sellers create product descriptions. This was reported by the press service of Yandex.
According to the company, Yandex Market was the first company among Russian marketplaces to produce solutions using a neural network. This solution is the first mass use of AI for business.
It is noted that the neural network can write a high-quality sales text in a matter of seconds. It is assumed that innovation will contribute to small and medium-sized businesses, as well as save copywriters and create a quality narrative.
Yandex said the solution is completely free. With the neural network, you can work in the seller’s personal account on the Market.
“YandexGPT writes the text according to the data on the product card. The more information it contains, the more detailed and accurate the neural network will describe. The text invented by him can be edited – for example, to add more details or lively nicknames. And if you want to see a different version of the product description, you can click the “Create with YaGPT” button again – and the neural network will generate a new text,” the message says.
At the same time, the neural network can be used for any cards that sellers create in their personal accounts on the Market. A completed card with a detailed description attracts more buyers, because it is easier for them to evaluate the product and make a purchase decision. The new technology is already available in all stores in the service.
YandexGPT (YaLM 2.0) is a next-generation generative neural network released on May 17, 2023. It is offered to users in “Let’s Think” mode in Alice and Masterpiece application. As clarified at the company, the neural network was trained in two stages on Yandex supercomputers, the most powerful in Russia and Eastern Europe. First, publicly available texts were shown – materials from books, websites, articles. They then trained on hundreds of thousands of examples of meaningful and well-written answers. To collect and prepare such samples, Yandex used its own crowdsourcing technologies and a team of AI trainers.
