A hidden feature of Apple Music was discovered in the beta version of the iOS 17 operating system – some social networking options appeared in the service. Portal reports 9to5Mac.
Users will now be able to follow all their friends to listen to what they are listening to. On a friend’s profile, you can see a list of their public playlists as well as the artists they follow. For example, 9to5Mac was able to find the Apple Music account of Apple Senior Vice President Eddie Cue, who found a large Coldplay playlist.
It is noted that there is a setting that allows you to make your profile private so that no one can watch what music you listen to. The new feature, which 9to5Mac reporters call a “secret social network”, has already been rolled out to all users of the iOS 17 beta. The operating system will be released to a large user base in the fall of 2023.
