The network has new data on the future console PlayStation 5 Pro. They were told by YouTuber RedGamingTech in his new video.
So this is what we know so far:
- The console gets a Zen 4 architecture processor from AMD. The current PS5 runs on a custom APU with Zen 2 architecture.
- The new console will be 2.5 times more powerful than the current ones in virtual reality games.
- Proshka gets its own resolution scaling technology, which is similar to FSR (AMD) or DLSS (NVIDIA) on PC. It is not yet clear who will develop it.
- The PlayStation 5 Pro is expected to be released in 2024.
And earlier, other sources reported about a new GPU with RDNA architecture (the current one uses Vega), they also talked about support for 8K resolution and a price in the region of $600-700. Blizzard decided to ban gamers from the DPR and LPR
