Android Central Portal Editor Nicholas Sutrich saidThe volume rocker on the flagship smartphone Google Pixel 7 Pro fell “by itself”. It turns out that other owners of the device are also complaining about this issue.
As Sutrich points out, he carried his smartphone without a case, but never dropped it and always treated it with care. Moreover, he rarely used it, as it was a “spare smartphone.” However, when he took the Pixel 7 Pro out of his pocket, he found that the volume button had fallen.
Google offered Sutrich a replacement device under warranty and explained the problem with gadget misuse. The journalist did not change the smartphone and replaced the button himself, but after that with each press he found a clear sound that was not there before. In this case, the button after the “repair” may fall out again, and this does not require special effort.
Sutrich found numerous complaints about a similar issue on the internet.
“I went for a walk and took my phone out of my pocket to take a picture and noticed that there was no volume button. I have no idea what exactly it is or where the button is. It’s only been three days since I got my phone,” says one of the victims.
