IT expert Kuvikov says you can check for data leak via a search engine 08:54

Denis Kuvikov, director of the National Technology Initiative’s (NTI) SafeNet regional engineering center, said simple queries can find out if user data has been leaked. It has been reported DEA News.

According to the expert, to understand whether personal data is really in the public domain, you can use basic search queries – for this you need to enter the last name, first name, last name and phone number.

If this information is found, it is worth deleting the account if it is a service or social network, or sending a request to delete the information to the email address posted on the site.

At the same time, Kuvikov emphasized that the first rule of cybersecurity is not to tell anyone on the network your personal and passport data, as well as financial information.

“If such a measure is still necessary, beware of two-factor authentication wherever possible,” he added.

Previously specialist Alexander Vurasko registeredthat changing the “factory” password on the router will protect the home Wi-Fi from hackers.
