New version of The Witcher 3 freed from “braking” 19:28

Polish studio CD Projekt RED has updated the new version of The Witcher 3 to version 4.01 with graphics improvements for next-gen consoles and PC. This has been officially announced Web site developers.

For example, the authors fixed a bug that caused screen space reflections on the PC to not work leading to “braking” even though they were enabled in the settings.

“Players who have previously set this setting to a high setting may experience performance change,” the document says.

The developers have also added a performance mode for ray-traced global lighting on PC. On consoles, CD Projekt RED fixed a save bug. The game will no longer render them uncontrollably, which previously caused crashes when saving the game or resetting user settings.

In addition, minor game fixes have been made to missions and videos across all platforms, and adjustments have been made to text localizations in different languages.
