Alvin is an insider quoting Digital Chat Station published Twitter photos of the engineering sample of the upcoming Oppo Find X6 smartphone.
Although the final design of Oppo’s flagship remains unknown, Alvin’s subscribers described the device as ugly due to the unusual design of the camera unit. An insider himself described the design as intimidating.
The location of the sensors in the engineering sample matches images posted online at the end of 2022. However, instead of a square camera platform, they featured a round block whose design vaguely resembled the cameras of the Huawei Mate 50 and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Oppo is said to be working with Hasselblad on the camera on the Find X6. The novelty is recognized by the main Sony IMX989 sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide-angle module Sony IMX890 and a similar sensor as a telephoto lens.
The launch of the Oppo Find X6 series is expected in February-March 2023.
