Sberbank and the Moscow Region government will open the first Center for AI Transformation of the Region in Russia. It will be created on the basis of the Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Moscow Region. This was reported by the press service of the bank.

Sberbank notes that joint pilot projects have already been successfully implemented in the Moscow region to monitor the condition of the air, forests and some other socially important areas using artificial intelligence technologies.
These projects have demonstrated their effectiveness and have received a high level of internal evaluation.

The Bank says the District’s Center for Artificial Intelligence Transformation will develop, pilot and implement AI-based solutions to solve applied and social problems in the Moscow region.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank German Gref, the company has done a lot of work in cooperation with the Moscow Region, sharing with the region its experience in creating an organizational structure for the inclusion of artificial intelligence technologies in the work of departments. all levels.

He emphasized that the region occupies a leading position among the constituent entities of Russia in terms of introducing modern technologies to solve problems both in the field of public administration, and in control and audit activities, and in sectoral tasks performed by the relevant ministries.

“I believe that the launch of the Center for Transformation of Artificial Intelligence in the Moscow Region will set an example for other organizations and will be the beginning of the large-scale implementation of artificial intelligence across the country,” Gref said.

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov pointed out that leadership in digital transformation is of fundamental importance for the Moscow region.

Six projects based on artificial intelligence have already been implemented in the region. For example, the Svetlana robot registers residents of the Moscow region for an appointment with a doctor, and the Dobrodel system immediately sends requests to the correct player, he added.

“By the end of the year, we plan to “assign” a number of tasks to artificial intelligence: checking the condition of apartments, monitoring roads, reading medical images, making smart public transport programs, ensuring rail safety and controlling the dumping of waste. Construction waste,” he said.
