CD Projekt RED Studio has hosted an online stream alongside the gameplay of the updated version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. released Trailer of the upcoming game.
At the same time, the developers made detailed explanations about what awaits players in the next generation version of The Witcher. Thus, the game will receive support for ray tracing, fast loading, and the elaboration of the world, objects and textures will be noticeably improved.
The game also claims to support FSR and DLSS technologies. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles will offer two graphics modes, “quality” and “performance”. Cheaper Xbox Series S owners won’t be able to enable ray tracing, but will be able to choose between 30 and 60 FPS modes. The developers also promised to use the “chips” of the DualSense gamepad for the PlayStation 5.
Players will reportedly have access to a full-fledged photo mode, a new camera that appears from behind the hero’s shoulder, and much more.
The next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on December 14, 2022. Owners of the original 2015 game will be able to get the updated version for free.
